Default Adding Turn Signals?

I am trying to get my Sportster ready so that my girlfriend can ride it. Unfortunately, it has already been stripped down a lot. That would be cool for me, but I don't want to put a brand new rider on the road with a jockey shifter and no turn signals (especially living in the city). I know this is probably a really ignorant question, but I am pretty clueless when it comes to wiring. I am wondering what all it takes to put in a turn signal/emergency flasher setup. I would assume there is just a module that activates and flashes the lights. I looked on ebay and didn't find anything like that. Is there something else I should be looking for? Thanks for any help.

Yes....look for the turnsignals and mount them!!

Seriously, your signals should plug right in to your wiring harness and unless you removed the relay for some reason, it's probably still with the bike.

Nope, it's gone. The whole bike was rewired, and every unneccessary bit was scrapped. It really sucks that now I need some of that stuff back that my buddy chopped off. He gave it all to our friend's shop at the time, and it has all been sold or used elsewhere.

Call your insurance agent and find out who handles his wrecked bike salvage. They will have a wrecked sporty that you can scavenge for parts.
