Should I assume these stand for Harley Davidosn International, and Domestic? If so, what does Canada fall under?
The reason why I am asking, is that for bulb replacement it lists different part #'s. Just curious so I can figure out the amperage draw for everything.

RE: HDI and DOM?
The 51st State, I believe it falls under the DOM...but I could be wrong. [sm=icon_stickpoke.gif] Don't get me wrong I love Canada. Never had nothing but good times up there.
No worries, I kinda agree we are the 51st state. But I was thumbing through the parts manual last night, and I found the answer to my own question. Canda is considered HDI.
There are variations in the speedo, lighting, reflectors, and in the saddlebags. In Germany, they dont have the little handle on the saddleback relase pins. Go figure.
And does anyone know what a "postion light" is? It's listed under the headlight section in the parts manual. Only draws .3A.

It's a GPS light that you use when you're lost. If you get lost and decide to turn to a map, you look for the flashing light on it and then you know where you're at. That's if you checked the HD option box for this "position light" when you ordered your new bike, only a $999.99 option!
For you military types, it's the same when you tell a lost Ranger to stand next to a tree when lost, shake it, and look on the map for movement.[sm=smiley36.gif]
Actually in some countries the front fender tip light is not legal, and they have a little bulb inside the bottom of the headlight housing. I believe that is the position light. If you pull the fairing off a bagger, (at least an HDI one) there is a plug for it, with a rubber cap over it.
In Canada the lighting is the same as the US.
In Australia the passing lamps go on with hi beams not low as here.
