GREAT pics, and a good post. Unfortunately not going to get a ton of takers here. Not a lot of race fans, I guess.
I remember watching the side hack races on Wide World of Sports with Jim McKay in the 60's.
Cafe racers were BIG in the early 70's in Hawaii.
But I LOVE flat trackers.
This weekend is the Springfield Mile, Springfield, Ill. I was there 4 yrs ago, but haven't been able to $$ to go since.
Some ppl have done an amazing job, of keeping and restoring those to unbelievable condition.

Wow! thanks for that post. There's a lot of really interesting stuff there. Love the springer on that one Triumph.
Amazing that there are still so many of those bikes around, and that many folks interested in restoring them.

I owned a '69 Triumph Bonneville for 10 years. Loved that bike. Hard pressed for any Harleys that could beat me through the tight twisties. Ahhh.... the good ol' days. Wouldn't trade my Heritage for my Bonney though.
