So I ordered my Fat Bob this morning. It's not coming in until early November. To keep from ripping my hair out while looking at pictures, what should I do with my time?
I know the feeling. When I first got my bike (It was a birthday gift from my hubby) ... It was in February. We had 3 ft of snow in our yard, and he and his buddies took the trouble to not only get in home without my knowing, but got the dern thing in our family room. Not an easy task in the middle of winter.
It sat there for months until I was able to get it outside...and ride it. That was agonizing. The only fix I could get during the wait, on occassion, was to wake my whole family up by spark'n her up first thing in the morning, then yell at the top of my lungs "EVERYBODY UP!!!"
Thumper, you have a lot of work ahead of you. You have catalogs to go through over and over, deciding what more you want to put on your new bike. Remember, the price you pay the dealer for the bike is only a down payment on what you will spend to make it all yours!
