If the truth be known a great many of us have a metric experience (or two) in our closet!

I'm the buy and ride type, When I bought this one I rode it home from the dealer the day I found it. I had been looking for alittle while and one day just decided "It was THE DAY!"
Cool! Thats what I bought it for was cruising on the highway, now the wait just got even longer.

Cool, now I don't feel like such a outcast knowing others amongst us have rode/ride metrics.

Metrics are fine utilitarian bikes, but they don't give you the feeling of love at first sight like you get from a Harley. You will never go back! And the FXSTC says pure Harley like nothing else in the lineup. I'm at the age and riding style where I need the comfort of a bagger, but if I were buying one on pure looks that bike would be it. Welcome aboard.

Thanks for the welcome! I agree, my metric has served me well, and honestly it's a sharp looking bike, for intown and short highway commutes it is great, the style of the FXSTC drew me to it, when I sat on it, I feel in love, so I guess it was love at first sit, everything just felt right, throw in the 6 speed and the extra torque, I think it is just right for me, Plus it is a Harley, always have wanted one, December sure seems like a long time away.
