You'll love it on the highway! you don't even use 6th gear til 65 or 100+ depending on how you ride!

Metrics are fine utilitarian bikes, but they don't give you the feeling of love at first sight like you get from a Harley. You will never go back! And the FXSTC says pure Harley like nothing else in the lineup. I'm at the age and riding style where I need the comfort of a bagger, but if I were buying one on pure looks that bike would be it. Welcome aboard.
