But most people do put the bikes up... My rides would get the tanks pulled off and drained... The battery would be put on a tender as well.
It sucked... but it is kinda hard to ride in -10 degree weather and snow... I mean... you can do it... but why?

What do guys do in those cold winter months? Do you get frustrated that you cant get out as much?what do you guys do!I dont mean to be sarcastic in any kind of way just wondering.I read alot of people putting their bikes up for storage,whats up with that?Down here you can literally ride year long,and mostly without even a jacket.With most people who own bikes i feel you always want to be riding somewhere whenever you get a chance.
Winter is when you make your major mods that would cut into your riding time.
Some convert their bikes to trikes for the Winter, but I don't care to ride when it's minus 20.
And unless you are in Canada or Alaska you wussies don't know what Winter really is. Stop in sometime in January we'll redefine the word COLD for you.










I just leave mine in the heated garage and hook up the battery tender once a month. Put a little stabil in the gas tank and they will be ready to purr come 40 degrees.
Come Summer when the Midnight Sun is shining you will find us riding at 2:00 am without a need for lights. We get a 6 month riding season and last year I slacked off a bit and only got in 16,000 miles.
Also, Winter is time to snuggle up to your favorite lady to make amends for going of riding in the Summer instead of getting all those honeydo's done.
