+1 to what most have writen...if i know the person, know how they ride i do not mind sharing the lane, if it is someone I do not know well then lets keep staggered formation, and a riding stranger: staggered please. I don't mind riding miles with you either infront or behind me in staggered, and even if it is a group of riders, thats fine.
At the stop light talk all you want but on the road, unless I know you, trust you and know how you ride, please stay staggered or go at your own pace.
I dont ride side by side with people that I dont Know .not every rider stays in the same sector of the road all the time. we have high crown roads here in Wisconsin
and I ride on one side or the other based on traffic.
I prefer a stagerd formation with at least one second between me and people front
and rear
I see alot of guys riding side by side hanging thier bikes over the traffic lines with
the tire almost on the line and thats just askin for it the way i see it
We go out of our way to hit all the back roads to wherever we are going, making seeing other cars and bikes not so much of an issue. Over the years some of our best rides have been on these roads.
