Dude, cuddos to you for being able to take the high road on this, not so sure I would have been able to keep my calm like that.
+1 on the talk to dealer about video cams and so forth.
I am amazed that anyone that even rides bikes, even as a passanger, would even think of being so rude as not to move to make space for another biker, and thus prob is not a real biker or HD fan. What a B.....
Go back to that dealer and tell them what happened. My dealer has video cameras all over, including the parking lot. It it was filmed, get a police report and press charges.
I agree....look at the tape...SOON
I HATE reading about this sort of thing,,,
Rest easy tho...KARMA is real...
EVO80,you had every right in the world to call the cops and get the dealership involved in this matter,I'm sure the other riders there would have liked to know what happened too.Hope the video thing works out for you.
You have much better control than I do.I would hvae said something to her husband,or her bad enough for one to commit an asault, then filed charges on them.
If the guy was there when you pulled in working on his ride and there when you came out, it would be reasonable to believe he either saw it or did it. At the very least the cops would have taken up a bunch of his time. I think the least you should have done is messed up his afternoon.
Definitely get the tape. Sorry this happened - it is such a cowardly thing for someone to do. People that can sleep after doing something like that are really on the bottom of the evolutionary ladder.
That sucks, and I feel your pain!! I was visiting friends at an apartment building and had parked up inside the entryway, near some mailboxes to get out of the rain. I wasn't blocking anything and many of the tenants knew me and my bike. Ready to leave, I'm approaching my bike and see something on the seat. When I get closer, I can see someone has cut my seat, a single long slice. I get home and call my friends, tell them what happened. Next day, I see a single nick in the tank paint that lines up perfectly with the cut. Something with a point and a little weight had done the cutting. Few days later, one of my friends says she saw a tile knife in another woman's purse, a woman known to be an unstable bitch, who'se old man had left her. I couldn't prove anything, but I was sure that bitch had cut my seat and nicked the tank.
