Ok,
If it was http://www.thundermountainharley.com/ then yes they do have cameras I gave them a call and just asked. They have cameras that cover the entire lot. Give them a call before the evidence gets erased!
I would have grabbed her by the hair and swung her around like a cat - WEEEEEEE!!!
?8^O
LoL, oh I'm just kiddin'. Made me feel good just visualizing it though.
If the husband grinned when you approached the second time, he was probably thinking "welcome to MY world - now you know what I have to come home to every night".
Only thing worse about getting your bike keyed is ignoring all the people waiting for the video results. C'mon EVO, what's going on, you need to appear here!

I appreciate all the comments, suggestions and concern - unfortunately, the person who did this is gonna get a free pass on what they did. Just to let you know I mentally went through most of the scenario's mentioned by all of you while sitting on the bike in the parking lot and in my mind most of them ended up with me in hand cuffs spending a night or two behind bars snuggling up with Bubba - not what I wanted.
This week I'm traveling on business and won't have a chance to follow up with the dealership on the video so I've scratched that possibility. I painted this bike myself this past March and on Sunday, when I got home from the dealership and finished up repairing the RoadKing, I sanded down the top of the Sporty's tank and primed it. This weekend I'll repaint it. This may be one of the reasons I'm taking this so calmly - I know I can easily fix what was done although I know there's the principle of the thing and dishing out street justice would have felt oh so good.
Now, as I pointed out to my wife while showing her the damage, had they done this to my StreetBob with it's custom flame paint job the situation would have, without a doubt, ended up totally differently. Thanks again everybody.
A lot of times when you call the cops for vandalism they give you a web-site to file a report on.
+1. Around here they would just take the report over the phone and refuse to come out. They would make notes on a note pad and not even fill out an official report. No kidding.
If someone walked into the police station with a copy of a tape showing them doing that, they'd make some excuse as to why they couldn't do anything about it. Don't think I'm kidding. I'm not.
you should at least call the dealer and have 'em run the tapes..or maybe you don't you don't really want to know??..this BS affects everyone, because if the perp gets away with it, they'll damn sure do it again..
