Sounds like a potential nightmare. You would consider doing this why?

Save money, sell your bike and go buy the bike you want.

Everyone else said the same thing. Sell your bike, buy the bike you want.
Would you know that all the parts are there just by looking at the boxes?
Even then, you still wouldn't have a clue about the engine/transmission.

This bike is in pieces. You have no idea if it runs or any other issues it may have. You'd be crazy to trade your bike for this potential nightmare project.

I think the jury is out on this one. Sounds to me like this bike was stolen and chopped up. I wouldn't touch it. Hope you find what your after.

Bike could vey well have a salvage title. Steer clear of the deal...no good can come from it.

A little homework can tell a lot. My dad is going to go take a look at all of it without letting him know that he knows me. He's gonna see what all is there, see if the numbers match on the frame and engine, see if the title is clear and not salvage. If the bike was stolen and stripped, I think he would have sold off most of the parts a lot sooner. Bike has been apart for 8 years. If I jump in blindly I could very well get screwed. I figured that I would get this kind of reaction from this forum, all that gets talked about on here is when to shift, what color is your bike, your gay if you wear chaps and fingerless gloves. This forum used to have some good technical information, sharing what issues everyone was having with their bikes, but it has gotten a bit ridiculous. Just sayin.
