I've been riding the Dyna Lowrider in the colder winder days. Put some soft lower on it plug my heated gear in ride every where till the ice is on the roads. Sometimes get out in the light snow it get a little hair but I do love riding. I see it like this your car has a heater and I have heated gear. My heated gear will keep me warmer than your car. Some you have to teach the new rides how we ride. I been riding in the winter cold since I was 11 years old.
It was 29 degrees when 5 of us left Escanaba, MI and headed down to Ludington. Each dressed according to his preferences but we enjoyed the cold ride. OK, maybe not the cold, but the ride.
If you ride everyday, you'll get to learn how to dress and come up with your own break-points. Keep your head and hands warm and you're off to a good start.
As long as there is no snow on the ground I am game to ride.
I am not a fan of the thaw & refreeze scenario.
If it is water in the afternoon it will be ice in the PM.
2wheels & ice do not mix IMO.
Getcha a good coat, gloves, face cover & some chapstick for the lips.
I've ridden in the 20's but there was no snow.
If you aren't comfortable in the chill then take the cage.
If you don't feel right then save it for another day.
Yep! Cold can suck at times. BUT Damn, I read on here that riders in the south and southwest don't ride because it's TOO HOT!! Now, I don't know about you, BUT THAT has got to suck 100% worse than the cold. Can't ride because of the heat!?!?! God i'll stay in Ohio. Again, that has to SUCK!!
