This past Spring I had a Power Commander III, SE Air kit (the new simple round chrome unit -not the football), and V&H slip on's installed on my 2006 FLHX at my dealer and dyno tuned
I, of course, received a print out of the runs with the HP and Torque readings. They performed a total of 4 runs by the looks of it.
My question is, what should I expect for the peak HP and torque numbers?
The documented torque was, what for the 88 twin cam? 85 ft. lbs.? I never did see a published HP number from the Motor CO., any ideas what this number was? Low 70's?
If I remember the max HP was 79 or 80. I do not recall what the torque reading was. I need to dig out the paper work.
The bike runs and sounds great so I never gave it another thought. Now reading all these damn posts about tuning, makes me wonder if they did a good job or not.
How many runs should be completed for a "complete tune"? This F.I, computer modules, Dyno runs, etc. are all new to me.
