Damn...same thing happened to me 4 years ago. I was on my Sporty stopped at a light. This chick with long auburn hair hanging out of her 1/2 helmet down the middle of her back rolls up at the light. She is on a silver SG with lots of chrome...matching helmet, matching HD nylon jacket...nice long legs. She looks over at me and winks. The light turns green and off she goes...I just sat there stunned until the guy in the cage behind me blows the horn.
I don't know why I was so stunned but I have been married 20 years too... Maybe it is a 20 year thing.
Had the joy and pleasure to follow one such said lady around during the HD 105th Parade. She had a beautiful heritage classic in pearl white, load pipz, amazing indian scenery painted on her tank, she had an amazing smile, and was totally at easy riding her bike in the parade, high-fiving peeps as she rode past them.
Welcome to the year 2008 where 10% of all riders are women. Like you guys we come from all walks of life, in all sorts of colors ,shapes and sizes. We ride bikes we love and customize them , wrench on them , do long solo trips cross country, commute to work and firmly believe we have earned the right to be called "bikers".Also like you guys, some of us have been around the block a few times and have gray hair, a few extra pounds and laugh lines. Please don't count us out of life yet- we have lots of great expereinces to share. So don't just pay attention to the younger, prettier chickies out there that ride. You might be really surprised at what a middle aged or older female rider can offer in the way of friendship or a great riding buddy.

Very well said Babe: My wife is 45 with a head full of totally gray hair, its been that way for a few years. She rides well and looks great, I am so blessed to be riding with my best friend, a good looking woman and one excellent woman!
Guess I'm gonna have to start paying attention to the riders. Every time I see a bike (Harley) all I look at is the bike. Don't pay any attention to the rider.
Does that make me a bad person?

Twice now I've seen the same leathered up babe riding a black Sporty Low at the gas station. Petite, with long brown hair, 3/4 OF helmet, big brown eyes and killer smile. Saw a very small babe, well she looked tiny on that Softail, riding in Belmont Shore. Not too many, though, considering this is So Cal.
