I believe the new Sportsters now have Progressive springs, I know I read they are upgraded for 09's

I too, was thinking of new fork springs. I am going to have my sliders off next week for new seals and some chrome sliders. I was thinking of getting some Progressives, does anyone know of any better springs on the market?

I have the same problem with my 09 xl1200l trike when my wife is on with me. harley put in heavy duty screaming eagle fork oil and made it 50 persent better. I still get to much brake dive with a rider so I have got to fix this problem. I think I will tri the progressive kit and see what hapends? So what you think???

Went with Progressives front and rear on the 2012 WG, I'd try the front springs with a light oil first, for me the pros tightened up the front forks by quite a bit and running a heavier oil has made them a bit to harsh.

You can also play with the top spacer lenght a bit too.

Small steps maybe.

I'd recommend Ricor Intiminators as opposed to new springs. I put them in the sporty and they transformed the front end from mushy to excellent. I kept the stock springs and left the spacers the stock length. No more bottoming out and the front end is a completely different animal.
