I have had them for two years now. Tried to go with State Farm, and they told me they could not match the $385.00 I was paying. That $287.00 is a good deal.
I have progressive and I like them for now (had a little lo-side accident 5 weeks ago), well see after I get next years renewal notice. They took care of picking up the bike and handled everything with the HD dealer. I'm just waiting for my painted fender from the MoCo.
I totaled my '06 Ultra in August '07, got my check from Progressive in about 10 days (no lienholder) and when renewal time came around my premium didn't go up. Even though I had a new Ultra on the way, they even reminded me to cancel my coverage on the '06 to save me some money until my new '08 arrived. Even if it is a total loss they do not automatically remove it from your policy.
most miserable company I have ever dealt with. Didnt want to pay this didnt want to pay that. Had to fight with them tooth and nail to get everything. Premiums were way higher for less coverage. Took forever to pay off the totaled bike. So I still had to make the payments on it to protect my credit. I would gladly pay more money to not have progressive!!!!
I had Progressive for 3 years, with no tickets or claims, and they wanted $890 renewal on my bike. Got Geico for $536. That was the least premium quote I could find for full coveage. Your $287. sounds fantastic to me.
Yep, me too. The only thing I can sa about progressive is, they are progressive, or their rates are anyway. Are they owned by AIG? Maybe they need a Federal rescue plan?
I went with Foremost and am very happy with my policy.
Progressive paid quickly after my accident. I had a head injury, (no helmet) -
the claims adjuster I dealt with got kinda rude because I didnt call him back quick enough...
He thought he had the right to school me about my slow communication skills. I tried to take him to school about manners... he never even heard me
I've had Progressive on all my cars, trucks and bikes for about 20 years and will never change. I wrecked FOUR vehicles in less than a week, (Only one was my fault.) never had a rate increase, my rates have gone down each year and very fast service.
I get offered lower rates all the time but I like their service, fast pay and a great agent.
With all my custom built bikes Progressive by far had better rates, and were much easier to deal with. Some Co's do not want or cannot talk about insuring custom bikes.Too bad for them!
