Smile What was your first motorcycle?

Just wondering how you got to your Harley.
Mine was a 72 Yamaha dirt bike , used, my dad got it for me, I it got when I was 14. That was in 1976.

Thank you everyone for replying to this post, sounds like lots of good memories & cool first bikes. Alot of us started the same way it looks like.

Mine was a "mini-bike" with a Briggs & Stratton! Then I got a Honda CR125 Elsinore (this was in '76).

Honda 90. My dad - who was an airline pilot - brought it back from Japan. Instead of having the gears go 1 down and 3 up, it went four up. Weird.

First motorcycle Rode My Dads Indian Chief at age 15 .. Rode many other makes and models in between then. First Motorcycle actually purchased for myself was 1969 XLCH for $1695.00 Brand new out the door .. Age 20

My buddy had loaned me his Honda 50 a couple of times, I caught the fever so my mon helped me to get a Suzuki 50 at the age of 15.
