Did The Greasable Mod

Finally put a zerk in the shft rod and changd to heim joints on rod ends.Man what a difference,I had not realized it had gotten that bad over the years,even if you're not having problems I would suggest doing this,it might surprise you!Only thing I have noticed is that the heims moved easily from side to side,then after about a two hundred mile ride they were stiff,still shifts alright,but I was wondering if this is normal?

Did mine awhile back. Very easy to do and worth the effort. Way cheaper than buying a shaft.
Just be careful tapping the hole for the zerk, the housing is aluminum and cuts really quick.
