Bill,

Thanks for the tip; I had not really thought about leaving the center pegs in place. Great fall back for those dicey times when learning the forward controls and one more position on long rides.

Thanx,
Tripper

What ever decision you make you'll be happy with.Just go with your heart and you can't go wrong.I like the Dyna myself because like Bill said you have options with the pegs but thats me.If it's about looks the Deuce is a nice ride and I know guys that loves their Deuces.Hell flip a coin there both great bikes.

On looks... Deuce in my humble opinion. A factory custom. Great riding too. And I do like the Dynas! Have put many miles on a LR. If you were comparing the Deuce versus Dyna Wide Glide I'd go for the WG... Don't get me started. Neverthless, it is the one that floats your boat, one you will look back at after parking it. Let us know your choice!

Deuce, I think they look a little cooler and for a long legged rider they seem to be great, a freind of mine just purchased one and he love's it.

I'm partial to the looks of the softail, but would buy the Deuce for the riding comfort and ease of handling...

Get what YOU want, but I'd buy the low rider.

sfarson mentioned the Wide Glide, Since you're 6' 2" I'd also suggest you ride that, before you make up your mind. (I'm not trying to confuse the issue, but the Low Rider and the Wide Glide are very different bikes in the Dyna family, and it would make sense to try both IMO.) Personally I like the Dynas more than the Softail line, but it IS a personal preference. I'd say choose the one your knickers want (as the saying goes). Good luck!

Gentlemen,

Thanks for all the input, and after much deliberation, I went with the Deuce. Found one in Lava Red and she's a beauty. I will post pictures here and in the new member forum, but right now I am going to take her for a spin.
