I've picked out a 2009 model, negotiated the best price and have my financing all set. Just wondering before I sign on the line if anyone had heard if there will be any upcoming factory incentives to purchase a Harley given the sluggish sales and economy the way it is.
I doubt you'll see anything on the 2009s for a while other than dealers discounting them. If you feel you got a good deal, go ahead and do it. No need to wait.
Picked out a 2009 Fat Bob in the Pewter Denim with forward foot controls. Paid MSRP plus tax and license. They threw in free storage for the winter, free rider's edge class this coming spring (with a $100 gift certificate for clothes once I complete the class), free 1,000 mile service check-up, 20% off anything I bought day of sale, and heck I even got a free t-shirt. They waived the freight and set up. It was the standard deal for most of the area dealerships I went to here in Eastern Wisconsin. Each dealership was really nice.
Guess I helped stimulate the economy with my purchase......Only thing is I don't get to ride it until next spring.
Well, I haven't seen any super deals on the 09 models yet, but think about this for a second; the 2010 models will be out in just a little over 8 months. Hmmmm?????
