Digitial Camera Mount
I just bought the Nikon Coolpix S550 http://www.tristatecamera.com/lookat...ku=NIKCPS550PM I was wondering if anyone has this mount for their digitial camera. I'm looking for something that will maybe bolt up on top of my engine guard to be able to get the front wheel in the video too. It look like this mount would work on my handlebar but I would like to get some of my bike in the video too.

I was also checking this out on e-bay, would this be better for my engine guard or would my camera viberate to much.

I bought a really solid one at the Las Vegas Bikefest. I can't remember the name of the product or the guy, but i have his card at home and will pm it to you when I get home this weekend. Good solid mount. I tried to use it to get some video of valley of fire state park, but the vibes from the bars kept shutting down my hdd vid cam. Might work better on a frame part I never got the chance to try it.

mount the camera on the bars, if mounted on the guards then there is too much vibes, even on the bars sometimes if going over a uneven patch you get vibes or harsh accleleration as well. otherwise ok i use the ram mount system using a samsung hd video camera. also get a filter cover for your lens or you could end up scratching it with a speck of dust.
