Don't feel too bad, I've got a buddy that says the only way his Road King will do 100mph is if he drops it out of an airplane from a mile in the air....

On Sunday on the way home from watching the Giants clip the wings of the Ravens, I took my 07 to 120 plus on I-95S. It was fairly smooth and flat pulling to that speed and felt like it would go a lot faster. I was rolling about 90 and my exit was coming up in a mile so I just rolled the throttle wide open and backed out of it as the needle swept a little past 120. I can't wait to put the big bore kit on this thing. ztoo bad I'm broke. LOL

My '07 Road Glide with slip-ons, DFO and SE a/c was done at 103 or so in 6th, 107 in 5th. Put Reinhart True Duals on it and got 110 in 6th and pegged it in 5th. Had it dyno'd and added a Mastertune (SERT) on Veteran's day, and haven't had time and space to wring it out yet - but it seems stronger yet. I suspect with the stock windshield (instead of the HD tall one) and without the tourpack, it would pick up a few more. Maybe if I lost some weight, it'd get there quicker!

On my 07 Hertiage I got 95 mph. Counldn't get past that. Maybe if I lost 20 lbs. I might break 100. Just wanted to see what she would do. Ok so I did it four times. Those roads in Kansas are so smooth and straight I just couldn't resist.

Those Harley (B) Motors are have that much problem with speed. Just because they have 7 horsepower less then the (A) motors. I have rode both and it's the rider not the bike. If bike is not up to speed go back to your dealer for your refund.
