Are there any dealers that will give good prices on the SE line? Most I've talked to will do 10% off max. My local dealer said they'de give me 12% off if I spend over $1000...gee thanks. Anyone know of dealers that'll do better? It would have to be decent to offset the shipping involved. I know there are lots of deals to be had for the aftermarket stuff, but I've seen nothing for the SE line.
RE: Does anybody "deal" on Screamin' Eagle stuff??
When you're considering shipping costs, remember if you buy from out of state and they don't have a store in your state, there will be no sales tax. Deduct the sales tax you would pay at your local dealer from the shipping and then calculate thatt as your shipping costs.
OTOH, if somethings not right unless it the factory or the store's explicit you will prob. have to pay to ship it back and for them to ship it back to you.
Philosophical Afterthought: I love the convenience and savings of shopping on the net. Unless you have a question or custom order, you can shop 24/7 365.
However, in 10 or 20 years. we may all be wondering why our town no longer has this or that store and why we can't get personalized service. Two-edged sword, I guess.

A good portion of these "too good to be true" deals are stolen merchandise or counterfeit. Buyers beware...
