If we got Guinness here and I could afford it, it's all I'd ever drink. Since we don't and I can't afford it, Bud (*NOT* that nasty crap, which is *anything* with the word 'lite' or 'light' in it) is all I've drank for 18 years, though I've had all kinds from around the world and domestic.
My favorite beer is the beer I brew myself.Mostly heavily hopped ales in the Pale Ale or IPA catagory
Flying Dog Pale Ale,Sierra Nevada are both excellent, and you can't go wrong with a Guinness.I like just about anything that has a ton of hops in it and some color
Theres just way too many good brews out there these days to name all the good ones
Just across the border in nevada they selll guinness by the case for 20 bucks. I usually stock up, since a six pack of it here in mayberry Utah is 13 bucks.
This time of year, I like Winter's Bourbon Cask Ale from Michelob, but I prefer Bud Light Lime and Yuengling (brewed in Tampa). I like most Wheat beers also, especially Flying Dog In Heat Wheat.
When I lived in the Atlanta area, I got hooked on Sweetwater 420. It's hard to come by here in North Alabama so, I've been drinking Yazoo Pale Ale. It's very similar to the 420. Both are a little less hoppy than a Sierra Nevada.
Up here in the western part of the great white north (BC) some of our local beers are great: Black Bear Ale, Okanagan Spring Pale Ale, Rickards Red. South of the border I like Dead Guy Ale, by Rogue Ales in Oregon and Red Horse Ale by Sacramento Brewry.
