It was a little on the cold side today in Washington State. It got into the low 40's in my area. Clouds came in and just slightly soaked the roads. I bundled up and cranked up the Classic. Rode just under a hundred miles today, stopping at friends to wish them a happy thanksgiving.
Even though I prefer to ride in warm weather, with the sun on my face, sometimes a cold winter ride is just the ticket. The leaves on the trees are long gone and there is just of hint of mist in the air. The overbearing aroma of burning wood flowing from Chimneys. It smells so wonderful. The air feels thin and crisp. Your fingers and toes get slightly numb and you feel so alive.
I love the crisp POP when you crank the throttle when its cold out. It sounds so raw!
