Guys, guys, relax a bit, I wrote what I did as a "tongue-in-cheek" saying. This was getting way to serious. I grew up in Philadelphia and I am keenly aware of what "colors" are and what you do wear and do not wear when traveling into different parts of the city. By the way i spoke to some Hell's Angels members and their opinion was it's a TV show and couldn't care less about someone wearing that stuff. Unless they were trying to puff out their chests and challenging them, then as the saying goes "it's your ***". So there I understand the seriousness of the thread.
We all have to face the fact that you can get a beat down for the right pair of sneaks to the wrong team supporters jersey. Hell, I hear people even get a beat down for the color of their skin! Amazing huh?
People are like Killer Bees. The wrong color and zap! They attack for no rational reason. Try wearing a pro-USA t-shirt in Germany and you may not be able to avoid a confrontation. Blending is your best bet to avoid a problem, but if you want attention then do what you want.
In the 22 years I've been in the Army the one thing I have learned is that the proper camo works.
No thats how you're perceiving it. The point has been beat to death and you chose to argue and ignore it.
Yes. I choose to argue his inane comments.
His points made, about "respect" and what someone "earned" were very clear. His idea is we should respect this criminal (yes- anyone who will beat you up for wearing a T-shirt, is a criminal), to avoid being assaulted.
As previously mentioned, I do not subscribe to the notion of dictating our lives and our society on the lowest common denominators (criminals).

So, do you mean to tell me that the diamond 1% patch doesn't really signify the bad element of society? That they're really just a bunch of good guys masquerading as bad boys?
Heh, okay, they're poseurs then. Have it your way.

You have a lot to learn grasshopper. And I reccomend you not spend any time around real folks and run that yap like you do here. While its America and you can say what you want you can also be held accountable by some and ignored by others.

I have a hard time believing that Dr's, lawyers, dentists, and other highly educated people would seek out a life as a 1% outlaw. Well, ok, maybe the lawyers, but not so much the others. And even if they did, how many of those would be willing to jeopardize their "years" of education, and internships to "beat down" anyone...let alone a poor soul wearing some soa crap!
I think there is something amiss with your definition and quantification of a 1%'er. But then again, I wouldn't know such things.

I'm having a hard time picturing any doctor or dentist or lawyer I've ever met giving me a beatdown. HO HO HO!
