Some 1% are taking notice of the sellers of these items. It is infringement on a copyrighted logo. They liken it to stealing from them. Sure you can ride a patch you want, thats a choice. But I guarantee you at the very least on encounter they will ask you to turn your jacket inside out, that will not be a choice. If its their very own patch, I would place a big bet that they will remove it for you for free, you will not have that choice either. But I suspect the encounter would likely even be much less pleasent for "your choice" If your not a 1% do yourself a respect, and not try to emulate being a part of a club, or even a make believe club your absolutely no part of.
That is viewed as simple disrespect, and you never even have to say a word. This has nothing at all to do with "Fashion" It to do with being a disrepectful Poser.

Yes they should at least be aware of the potential. Logic doesnt apply. If some 1%er sees someone wearing some SOA gear and he thinks the show is lame he might beat their *** on principle! It is naive to think it cant happen.

Not saying it wouldn't happen--their are dumbasses in every group but I doubt seriously that any club will go out of it's way to mess with someone over sons of anarchy crap. Its not a club--its a show on tv. I can see them laughing at you and possibly disrespecting you but to treat you as a threat---not.
