On a bagger the cover is fine. I have had one on an 07 SG for almost 2 years...looks like new. If it wasn't a bagger, I would go with the full-chrome.

yeah I'd go for the chrome sprocket and not just the chrome cover.

the belt will wear on the chrome of a full sprocket anyway. Going with just the cover makes sense if you are keeping the stock style.

obviously the full chrome sprocket looks the best...but not everyone has the $$ or wants to spend the $$ for a full chrome sprocket....I think the covers look good for the price...although I got mine for free...well not free...story goes that when I got the tires, the dealer scratched the stock pulley...so they offered to "cover" with the chrome cover for "free"....well I said ok..then they said, but if you want chrome bolts to go with it you'll have to pay for them.. Can you believe that? Yep, so it cost me $30 for the chrome bolts!!!! the cover is about $60 for the part itself...

Edeluxe, That is what happen to me . I had a flat at the first 400 miles with a deck screw. The dealer sratched the sprocket while fixing the tire. It wasnt that bad so I didnt have them replace it. They were new mechanics.

I have the cover. I think it looks pretty good. However, I have always done the "custom on a budget" thing. The way I figure it is no one really gives a **** but yourself.

Check out the chrome exchange program I know it will be less for a chrome exchange than a new pully
