I think you would be far more successful going with Mirror mounted signals like come on some late model cars. Usually these are above the shoulder line, and visible from the rear of the bike. OOHHH damn, did I just give away a money making idea? Or, you can do what I did with the lights in each bag that are stop run turn leds.
