Might not even be the Kids that ya think it is. Around this area , A-holes have been following UPS, FEDEX, even US postal service around and just picking up all the "goddies" shortly after there delivered! The delivery services DO NOT require a signature here anymore, so it's really pretty easy pickings!...... Anyway, I hope ya catch whoever ripped ya off. Sorry SOBs whoever they are!!
Thanks for all the advise I think I will do the police report and I think from now on I will pick up my packages, and I would love to beat the SOB with the triple trees.
I know of a case where UPS mistakenly delivered a computer to the wrong house on the block. Someone got an early Christmas present. But UPS insurance covered it so there was no monetary loss. Guy who sent you the triple tree should've insured it. If not it should be his loss to worry about.

This is most likely. UPS is running with a lot of "temp" Xmas help and this is a common mistake with them. They're under the gun from UPS's bean counters, that allow them some ridiculous time per stop. Ask around at your neighbors, hopefully one will have it.
I had one temp, leave 3 packages at my stoop once, and was leaving before I got to the door. Only one was actually mine, and I whistled, to stop him.
He said, "you should have just kept them, they're insured".
I did talk to the ups driver and he remembers leaving it at the front door. I'm hoping it was a kid and he looked at what he stole and said what the hell is this and tossed it over the wall by the railroad tracks, so I'm going for a little walk this morning and see if I get lucky
UPS misdelivered around 20 packages to my block two days ago. I actually collected the boxes at my house, took them across the street to my neighbors, where I found boxes to a place the next street over. I took their boxes over there, where I found my wife's missing package, and another box, took that box to its owner, and brought home my wifes new boots (American Made). I called UPS, and asked to be put on their payroll. They explained that they have a lot of new drivers, and that it happens, and to be happy we found our package. I guess its okay to deliver poor service this time of year.
UPS automatically insures packages for $100.00 so the shipper will get at least that back. If they were insured for the full amount he will get it but he has to file a claim & reimburse you too. Good Luck.
