Install Hand Grips

How hard is it to install hand grips not heated. I have a 2007 Electric Glide Classic any help would be app thanks

Saw on another forum that using hairspray works. When wet it allows the grips to slide right on and then when it hardens it holds tight.

Only thing I have to add to that is be gentle with the throttle grip. If not careful you will break the brake light switch. Unfortunately I found out all too quickly.

If you are using HD Grips, the instructions are very good. Took me about 30 min. the first time. At taht time, I did not have a manual, but the instruction sheet was very complete as to what to do.

Hand grips

Changed the grips on my heritage and it was quite easy. Had to slice off the old ones then the new ones slid right on but as was stated above easy on the throttle one, don't gorilla it or you could break the switch.
