Default Wife is going to learn to ride WOO HOO!

My lady is so freakin' cool. She got me my first HOG. She is a licensed race car driver, and has decided that she wants to learn to ride a motorcycle. I am looking at sending her to the msf class. It is my understanding that if she passes the class she will get her license without taking the test at the DMV. I learned without this luxury as funds were low many years ago when I learned to drive. I did pass the dmv test on a relatively heavy motorcycle without a problem. I am a little nervous about her riding (I sit in the car while she drives) but I just have to let that go. I am so excited that she wants to ride, so now I have to find her a light little beginner bike to learn on. I was thinking maybe a jap bike she can drop and then progress to a sporty, and then a dyna or street bob. My lady came with me to our local biker hangout "the rockstore" last weekend and she like to sporty 883 more than anyother bike, That was funny. It is a gitlz bike right. J/K. All I really need to sy is am going to sign her up for the msf course and give it to her after we return from laughlin. Here she is. She concerned about having something happen to her pretty face. Dure is pretty, isn't it?

Nice, very nice.

I did the MSF course in August. I went to the DMV for my permit in July, just have to pass the written test for that. With your permit (in CA) you can ride a motorcycle by yourself, in daylight, and NOT on the freeway. With the MSF course, you do not need to take the on-bike test. They use little 250ccs that are really easy to handle. I had my permit, my MSF course and my license in 2 months, our bike in 4.
