Fast is good too, brother! I have a 500hp Camaro that LOVES to go fast. My bike is more for the all around experience I get from it. That may change too though... The Camaro had stock HP and TQ once upon a time too
I like it too for the same reason but can't wait to get some better, louder sounding pipes and then see what it sounds like. Looking at the V&H BS Staggered... can't wait (probably Mar-Apr timeframe.)
I went from S/E slash cut slip-ons (which I really liked, as in the sig pic) to the V&H Big Shot Staggered, this fall... There is absolutely no comparison. The V&H's win by a country mile. Will update the sig pic eventually.
As much as I like running my Fat Bob through the gears, I particularly enjoy downshifting and matching revs and listening to the crackle of the Cycle Shacks
I have been avoiding the highway and long straight roads with no stoplights in favor of the local surface streets that give me more opportunity to go up and down through the gearbox.
Did I mention how much I love the sound of my inexpensive Cycle Shack slip-ons??
Any other "downshifters" out there?
Yeah... Scott & I do this thing where we go blazing up to a stoplight, then downshift early to chirp the rear tire. Try to get three good chirps from third, second, and first. For some reason, my wife finds it most amusing and enjoyable. I have a signal to let her know I'm going to be doing that, so she doesn't end up slamming her head into mine, three times.
