Agree! The bolts, nuts and other cold-heading parts on the Harbor Freight jack (and a lot of Chinese stuff) are risky and can't handle stress or wear very well. Put some in a vise and torque em up to where you normally would and be surprised how many fail or distort!!!
I have the HF $60 variety model. It works pretty good with my Sporty and Heritage. Just keep it an inch or two off the ground--very wobbly. It's also good for jacking up other stuff (lawn tractors etc)
its usually onsale for $99 but if you look around in ATV or dirt bike mags you can get a coupon to get it for $59 + tax . i use mine to lift my 2008 RKC .
