I have had only one problem with my dealer service (only had used them 2 times in my life so they are batting .500) Needed a rear tire before going on a trip and they had one in stuck for my SE Deuce. Had the neck bearings adjusted and new rear brakes done since they would throw in the labor on the brakes. That would free up a day for me so I figured what the hell. Needless to say, some miles later I hear a rattling sound coming from the rear of the bike. Took a while to figure it out but after finding the adjuster bolt loose, I knew something in there is not right. 380 miles from home and no tools. Found a guy on a Ultra that carried tools, pulled the cover off and the jam nut was laying in there. Checked alignment, all was still good, cinched up the adjuster and lock nut, put the cover back on and all was good. Went back to the dealer when I got home and all he could say was "Should have brought it back as soon as you noticed it." So I asked him if they were going to tow the bike in from 380 milers away? Of course we know what his answer was. "NO!"

Dammit, don't let this slide, call the owner of this place and tell him what you have told us!Tell him that you are going to publish his reply on HDforums,do it ,you have nothing to lose and you may keep another member from going through the same thing and maybe prevent them from being hurt.
It would be more meaningful if you rode back to see the S/M and talk to him face to face and show the S/M just what was loose. That way they can't put you on hold hoping you'll hangup.
When I parked up I found the fender/seat bolts undone and only holding on by a couple of threads.
I'm not sure if I'm following correctly. When you say fender/seat bolts, are you talking about where the seat bolts into the frame or are you talking about the pinion pad thumbscrew?
