Layed'r down
Please take the course it will help alot and decrease the isurance rates too. Also make sure you know the laws, In most states if you are riding with a learners permit you have to Ride Solo. No other riders are to be riding with you for safety reasons.
and my current RG
. Each time she helped me right the bike, hopped right back on, and away we went.

Hell, I laid my brand new RK down as soon as I got her home. I have had it on the ground 6 times since. I had it on the ground 4 times in less than 50 yards, thanks to my friends loose gravel and curvey driveway. Believe me I'm not bragging, just saying that things happen and motorcycles rest on their side (as you found out). You and your wife are ok and the bike is too (mostly). Look at it this way; now you have a war story to tell your buddies over a cold one.
LMAO!!!!!!!!
Sounds like you could "drop" a cage!! LOL!!!
Be safe, I'll be prayin' fer ya buddy!! LOL!

Like everyone has said, you got it out of the way. Now, Ride on.
AcidRayn, I had a friend like that. That woman claimed she was a very experienced passenger on a bike. Granted, we used to pilfer rides off the guys and it was in city limits. So mostly street riding. My ex hub and I always had a bike ... she bragged just a bit too much one day about how good she was so he took her and I went with his buddy for a ride ........ mountain riding puts the devil to rest. I knew what he was gonna do, as did our friend, so we rode behind because I figured I would hear the screams really well from back there!!
When he had enough of her pounding on his back and screaming in his ear to stop, he did!! She got off all shook up. She had no clue about really leaning into turns, of course she had never been that close to pavement before either!! Needless to say she rode back with our buddy ........ they got back to the house an hour later ....... she made him go slow!
take the course
The Best of Harley-Davidson for Lifelong Riders
Picked up this used Heritage. Yesterday she calls me at work and says "Come get me on the bike, I want to ride with you" Well, she must have heard the caution in my voice. I'm not sure I'm ready to take her on the back yet. I'm still struggling with the weight on slow manuevers. I'm worried about dumping the bike with her on it. I'm not worried about me.
Everyone says that you have either dumped your bike or you will. I haven't yet. Which, I guess means my turn will come.
Good thing no-one was hurt. Get some more miles in before you decide to go 2-up again.
Dan
I've been riding big bikes for 25 years. I've never dumped any of the road bikes. Prior to that, I had several trail bikes, enduro's mostly. I dumped those so many times, I truly lost count. Hell if you didn't dump those, you weren't riding.
Do you suppose, those crashes count?
