Congrats- Now that you are a union brother always remember 2 things:
1) Your local is only as good as it's members want it to be, so don't hesitate to become involved for the good of all.
2) If you choose not to or cannot be involved in your local @ least support the brothers and sisters who do. They are working to make your life better.

Good for you. There are jobs out there but it's tight. I retired from the Sheriff's Office after 24 years 2 years ago. I decided I needed a job at the end of this summer when gas hit $4.00 a gallon. I'm working at Home Depot and love it. Gets me out of the house and some pretty good spending money. I'm retired and don't need to support my family with this job but it sure makes life easier. Not that many jobs out there for an old broken down biker/Cop (LOL).
