Default Passenger floorboards

Question for those who have passenger floorboards AND Mark III freeway pegs.

Wife asked me if there was some way to put freeway pegs on for her. Being the good 'keep Mama happy and everyone is hapy' type husband that I am, I said 'SURE"

I do know that the III's bolt to the floorboard but have never seen them in person so I don't know the length.

My question is, can the Mark III peg adaptor bracket be installed on the passenger floorboards? If they are too long, can they be cut to fit without distroying the integrety of the the bracket?

Currently I have Leg Risers on for her but they are rotating her back onto her tailbone which was broken a few years ago and hurts when she uses them.

I will say that you can make the MKIII's work or a passenger board if you can get the insert off the board (rubber part) When I put my MKIII's on my extended rider boards I had to drill new holes for the reinfrocement plate and I have never had a problem, so I guess you could cut it down and do the install. Im not sure if you know how they attach to the boards so here are a few pics.

As you can see in the first pic, a reinforcement plate is unstalled between the floorboard pan and the insert. Bolts go through the pan to hold the peg mount onto the pan. In the second pic, you will see that only the first 2 bolts actually told the highway peg mount, so if you cut down the reinforcement plate used 3 vice 4 bolts you should be good.

Most people use the Kuryakyn Adjustable Passenger Pegs.

Thanks chris. They do look like they will work.
I am assuming the peg will be about 2-3 inches forward of the floorboard and outboard of the floorboard, correct?

I'd say 3 inches up and 2 inches forward.
