I currently have softail leather toolboxes along with passenger floorboards, on my fatboy.
The toolbox mounts right above the passenger peg. I need a longer mount to extend beyond the box. I have considered going to ACE Hardware and buying a chrome spacer and longer bolt. What my options and will the spacer and longer bolt be strong enough to support the pegs? My wife only weighs 100lbs.
I want to remove the floorboards and put on some passenger pegs. My wife only really needs the floorboards on long rides. We ride mostly around town. Thus, I do not need them on all the time.
We have the passenger extensions too. I'm gonna put a call into Tom in the morning to see what we have for softail passenger extensions as I see none on this page. I'll get back to you. Pm me to remind me if you do not mind.

yes she does stand on it. The floorboards are far enough out, as is. I want to take them off and put on the pegs. The peg mounts need to be about 3 inches longer than they are stock. I can use three chrome spacers from ACE but them I cannot find a blot that is long enough with the right type of head, to recess into the mount. I am looking for a chrome standoff with a grade 8 bolt, I guess.
