Agreed, the article never mentions helmets preventing accidents. It does however make the point helmet use can prevent injuries, which is a very good point.

Yeah that was my take too. It sounded more to me like they were saying that the death could have been avoided not the accident.

Just Dave....glad to hear some people still have ***** bigger than bull canary birds. Most of the establishment are totally against motorcycle riders and always put the blame on us, no matter what the situation.

I'm with ya, Dave. The Venice edition of the Herald-Tribune is no different. All they want to do is scare others into agreeing with them. Ridiculous.

I was refering to some other articles she has written, guess I should have linked up to all of them. Sorry for the confusion.
