heading to phoenix in the morning to ride around in the 75 degrees. I'm sure ill end up in cave creek with a drink in my hand by 8pm and a smile on my face since I havent ridden for too damn long.
Last year we rode to tucson and checked out the missle silos and air museum and that was a blast.
Question for anyone familar with the area: Whats a good round trip ride there out of phoenix? I don't want freeways and I want a long open road as much as possible. Something that ends in a bar or has some cool history to it. Mining towns are fine. Any good ideas for a good round trip on short days? I'm thinking jerome might work.

The Bee Line hwy seems like a nice ride, then maybe out to Canyon Lake, lots of twisty's. I live out there for 3 yrs (without a bike) I would love to do some riding out there.
