Default Help finding an informative past reply to post

Someone had cut the rear brake pedal mounting base to make the Mark III"s a bit roomier (allowed the pedal to move to the left a bit) It was mentioned in a reply to a post and I can't find it anywhere. Anyone recall this? What was used to cut the mount? How much of a cut?

Always try SEARCH first, so as not to **** off the old timers.
When using SEARCH, make it as brief as possible.
Use only words directly related.
CAP all related words, such as:
"Street Bob AND Turn signals AND relocate"
In your case you may need to keep reposting till the people see it.
Good kuck.

Did that. This was a reply to a post and not a post itself. One of those things that you come across while looking for someting else and then later you say to yourself " I remember reading something about.." Ah well.

I don't have your answer about how much to cut, but I would recommend the Harley Goodies floorboard extensions http://www.harleygoodies.com/. They will move your floorboards out away from the bike and give you all the room you need on those MK III's. Here is a pic of my set up with those extensions.

sonar chris

sometimes you get so fixated on one thing that you miss the obvious. So thanks for your post. I have a set of Harley Goodies and took them off when I put on my engine guard. Dug em out and they'll do the trick.
