Common sense really. I thought everyone knew the helmet wasn't supposed to be loose, but snug.
I remember watching that crash at Mugello live. Frightening indeed. I wonder how many anti helmet twits would argue wearing no helmet would have been better for either of the riders from that video.
Yeah, some people still believe a helmet is useless above 15mph. Well, that guy in the video had to be going at least 120mph, probably even more.
Bet he had a horrific headache after those head blows. I hate wearing a full face and generally only wear it during the winter to keep the cold out.
The fullface really does take some (alot) of my enjoyment of riding away. Just a different feel to have your face in the wind. So I wear a 1/2 most of time.
I have learned to buy my helmets a bit snug. They have a good 10% breakin factor so after some riding they fit the way they should.

People have many reasons for not wearing a helmet; this doesn't make them twits. They are responsible for their own heads and well-being, and are fully capable of making up their own minds as to what, if any, levels of protection they desire.
Me? I wear a 1/2, 3/4, or a Shoei X-11 full-face depending on my mood.
