At the 105th in Milwaukee, there were these religious folks going around passing out little copies of the New Testament. I got one for my atheist friend, mostly just to annoy him.

Guess what he's using it for? But the funny part is, he carries it everywhere.

I've got some I made and some I bought you just never know when you might need it and yes attach a nylon cord to it thats long enough to reach to your clutch lever so that when you get on your bike you don't have to pick it up ,just wind it up and stick it in your pocket. If you want "class" buy the carbon fiber one from Riders Wearhouse, very cool deal.

I keep one with me. Comes in handy. Some of the pavement around here can get pretty soft in the hot summer days.

Those huge, black, plastic plates they sell at the dealer are just a waste of space and money. Just about any hard surface, the size of a drink coaster will work fine.

At worst just stick it in your pocket. I usually have a fork bag of some type, it fits right in there.

Got a oblong one from The Tail of the Dragon store. Added an orange "reminder" cord, and store mine in the left fron Lower fairing glove box.

Wife has the same one, she keeps it in a side pocket on the Boss bag trunk she uses.

Both are easy to get to, and put away.

I also carry a couple small ones in the tourpak, just in case a buddy needs one.

A small piece of steel pate does it for me. Kept in my fork bag.

I recieved one as the "FREE" gift you get when you sign up for "Motorcycycle riders club of America".The club is a scam so don't sign up for it unless you want a 4" round piece of plastic
