I currently have a '08 Roadglide and am looking for something smaller/lighter to ride for shorter more around town rides. That being said I am looking at two different rides: 1200 Nightster and a 2009 Night train. Let me start by saying that I have always wanted a Night train but never got around to getting one. I can get a nightster for $10,985+tax with optional paint and forward controls installed(retail+controls+doc fee) or I can get a night train for $15700. The night train is roughly $1k below retail. The nightster would qualify for the trade in next year if I didn't like it.
Too many choices.......
I can't quite make my mind up. Any suggestions? Thanks.
The Choice is Yours but I would get something that I would be comfortable on now instead of Trading up again later on, if it is for running around town I would look into a nice used Bike and try to save some money. I would look into a Dyna Model.
+1 On the used bike. Look at the '99 Night Trains, first year they were out, and last year of the evo. Plus the motor is all black, the TC NT's have silver tipped fins.
Since I already have an awesome touring machine, I would pick the Nightster (If I didn't get a new XL883IRON) for whippin' around town.
But if you always wanted a Nighttrain,...... get what you want now.
