If my husband ever called me Mom, or Momma or anything like that I think he would know never to do it again! Ewwww!!! I'm a mom but not HIS mom. I guess some women must be alright with it....but....ewww...it's just creepy! Ok, this is only MY opinion, please don't anyone take offense to what I just said. I found myself doing it after having the kids. Always talking to them about "mom" and I guess it just kinda works like that when I'm talking about her. I don't call her mom when I talk to her. That would be kinda wierd, especially since she is 12 years younger than I, plus she'd probably get pissed!?
