How does belonging to a motorcycle club create respect? How does wearing a patch create respect?
Especially towards people who may be criminals?
Correct.....But that's beating a dead horse.
Anyway.
I am not a fan of advertising what I am NOT, as that is a long list, and is hard to fit on the back of a vest.
You are a biker, and apparently have excellent taste in motorcycles. How about a big bar and shield, or an American Flag (I assume you are proud of being an American). I've also seen large eagles that say "Ride Free".
"Lone Wolf" kind of creeps me out. The book about Eric Robert Rudolph is called Lone Wolf

If you had bothered to understand the question, his comment about attitude and respect was a reply to as if he would get his *** beat for wearing the lone wolf patch. His comment was that it shouldn't have anything to do with it, that having a good attitude and being respectful would be the main factors in if he gets his *** kicked or not.
Secondly If you did belong to an MC you would understand its not wearing the patch that earns respect, it's earning the patch that gives respect. The MC world is a different world and if that doesn't make sense then it can't be explained.
the fact you're riding alone would proclaim your lone wold status without a patch to announce it. Unless, you just want a patch with none of the responsibilities or consequences that could come with it.
Have Harley Logo, POW MIA, American Flag, Nam Vet, Patches etc... Don't see any need to add Lone Wolf ... Enjoy riding with a few sometimes and enjoy riding alone as well...
I love seeing all the LONE WOLF patches at rallies. It's funny to see so many people fighting to be nonconformists by wearing the same patch. I see more of them than I see actual club patches sometimes. Lone Wolf patches have always cried "loser that no club wanted" to me. In the end, it's your apparel, decorate it anyway you want.
How about "Lone Wolf Club" and don't let anyone join.....
Myself I just have an eagle on the back of the vest, nothing on jackets and whatever is on free t-shirts...bike seems to run OK and I enjoy riding it whenever and wherever I want with whoever I want..but that's me and this is still (for awhile yet I hope) a free country.
