Hell yea I am always waiting on a new bike or should I say next bike. problem is i find it hard to give up the old ones. I am hoping to get the wife certified and make her get her own, not that I mind riding her on the back of mine. I think she needs a roadking or a delux she wants a fatboy. Wish I could talk her into getting a sporty so I could give it a spin and it will probably be cheaper when she drops it. bought her a honda to learn on, it spent more time horizontal than vertical. Since she cant even drive a standard car it was hard on her to learn but she has it down fairly well now. She will take the course as soon as school is out for the summer and I will buy her one. I think she just wants one to drive to school. Her third graders will think its cool tht thier teacher is a biker...lol
ordered my vivid street bob at 10/15/05 !!! with a little luck i get it in the first week of may. yesterday my dealer told me that my ordered forwards are off . . . so i have to ride the first time with the original pegs. i'm 6' tall . . . maybe i have to ride with my knees near my ears *aaarghhhhhhh*
well tomorrow monring I finally get to pick mine up. I put a deposit at another dealership for a vivid black street glide and it was sold out from under me and finally found one at another dealership.. TOMORROW!!!! WOOHOO
Have been waiting since March 31 06, they said it should be here around May sometime.
I don't mind really right now, because it allows me to think about what I should get for
it. I can also save up a little more for the down payment!
I will probably hold off on a seat, and pipes for a while at least till I can figure out what
I want. I thought about a sissy bar too, but I have been thinking about either a custom
made one, or something along those lines!
Mine will probably remain stock really until I figure out what I want and the direction I
want to style it.
Ordered my FLHRCI early April and it supposed to be shipped from PA May 10 to arrive May 15... can't wait. Last HD I had was in 1972... it's bout time so made decision on new one... but ordered some extra goodies on it and I suppose it's worth the wait!
Went to HD of Atlanta today and bought my 2006 EGS with a few nicely placed mods. It will be done in about a week they say. I told them to take their time putting my pipes and all of that stuff on. I have waited this long and 7 more days aint gonna kill me.
Ordered a POE Utra Classic in Nov 05. Ship date was April 24th. Dealer called me said it will be ready on May 11th. Can't wait to pick up this vivid black beauty! G man
