I've been using the HD "Stealth" mod helmet which is the same as the KBC FFR, and the HD "Revolution" seems same but with different graphics i think, but not 100% on that one.

Stealth/FFR was the only one that at the time, 3 years ago, said (KBC and HD site) it was tested and could be worn in the "up" position to very high freeway speeds and i did do that on a regular basis, even without the windshield i have now. Generally didnt toss my head around too much even at high speeds when up.

Catch again with this is chin guard does have a stamp on it saying will not protect in the event of a crash or something like that.

Put it to use once when i had a fairly low speed encounter with the side of the road as i was just about to make a friendly introduction to a sign post at the end of a raised concrete island. I didnt even know i hit the side of my head going down until i saw the scrapes on the side of the helmet afterward.

Overall cant complain too much about it. stays dry though like all fogs up some.

For those interested check out webbikeworld.com for their helmet reviews. They test a lot and seem to offer real independent opinions on everything, as they do call it like they see it for sure. http://www.webbikeworld.com/r2/motor.../roof-boxer-v/

The new Shark Evoline and the Roof Boxer and Roof Boxer V are my absolute favorites. They push the envelope of modular in a way no others have yet by having the chin bar rotate completely to the rear of the helmet so there is no drag at all and are truly more functional and provide complete open riding experience you cant get with simply popping "up" a traditional modular/flip-up.

What's this, you get a choice how you hit the pavement! Brilliant

Another Nolan N102 here. I have the J&P Audio setup in mine and on the Ultra it is the hot ticket, good tunes, great in the winter months. I also have a Harley 1/2 in Carbon Fiber which is super lightweight and very cool in the summer. Around town I usually just have a GoodGuys baseball cap!

I love my Shoei full face, tried the HD modular but to much noise (only wore it once). Each brand fits different and Shoei fits me. Some gee wiz info: DOT is a standard that the manufacutors test themselves, SNELL is independent and test any brand given them. SO if you have both you can be pretty sure you get a safe helmet. Bottom line for me is fit, finish, quite, and dry.
