Smile Finally got it!

I've been deaming about this for almost two years now. Rented two different models and took advantage of a couple of factory demo days.

I took delivery of an 09 Ultra Classic (Red Hot Sunglow / Smokey Gold) about 4pm on Friday. Put just over 100 miles on it before I got home. As of this evening, I'm close to 500 miles on the bike and loving it. Been taking advantage of the many back roads we have around here to vary speed and loading during the break-in period. I'll be glad when that's done with.

I haven't taken any any pictures yet, been riding too much ( ) but will post some when I get them. Just wanted to let you know!

Ride Safe,
Steve R.

Hey, I'm excited for you! Know the feeling well. That's a smoke'n hot color you have. It was between that color and the one I have. I opted for the blue because I didn't want to wait three months or more. Have fun, ride safe!

Thanks everyone! Yup, we are lucky to be able to ride pretty much 12 months a year. Temps today were a little to the cool side (for us anyway), ranging from the mid 40's to the low 60's. It's supposed to be in the low 40's along the coast tomorrow down to near freezing north of Houston. Weather forcast this morning for the week said it's supposed to warm up by mid week, ranging from the low 50's in the morning to pushing the 80's for highs in the afternoon. I'm very much looking to it!

WooHoo congrats to you on the new bike! Sounds like you're off to a good start and getting some miles on her.
