I run mine all the time as does my wife. I had one fail on my Roadking after about 50,000 miles. That's the only failure we've ever had.

Regards,

Bill

Well, I want to ride with the spots on all the time but i was just wondering how it would effect the battery or lights. I just installed Adjure jeweled tri bar spots and head lights yesterday. Anyone else runing these lights?

NO need to change the fuse! Any hot wire will worek to allow both high and low beam operation...have mine that way and no probs!

I run my spots all the time, for two reasons. One for more visibility during the day and two, I have my spots seperate from my headlight and if at nightime my main headlight bulb should blow, my spots would still give me ample light to see where I'm going.

This was from a while back, but I'm getting ready to do this and realized that I had a question which I forgot to ask: On the mod, what happens to the yellow wire out of the headlamp connector?
On the original, it shows it coming from the headlamp connector to the passing lamp switch.
On the modification it only shows it coming out of the passing lamp switch. Does it still run from theheadlamp connector first or do you just remove it from the headlamp connector for the mod?
TIA for any help. I'm still amazed and can't understand how lights come on when I turn a switch, so thought I'd better double check this. Art

How to make your passing lamps stay on when your brights are on:

Aceart,

The passing lamp hot wire to switch is originally fed from low beam hot wire. On the mod you will remove the passing lamp 12 volt feed from the yellow 12 volt headlight wire, and go to the accessory hot wire to get 12 volts back to the passing lamps. This eliminates the passing lamps from the lowbeam and allows them to be turned off or on at your choice.
